As a physical theatre school, (fysisk teaterskole), The Commedia School course is based on is movement, the physical aspect of acting, which is often left out of traditional acting programs. The course is grounded in the pedagogical methods of Carlo Mazzone-Clementi, Jacques Lecoq, and Moshe Feldenkrais.  The physical training includes  movement analysis, mime, acrobatics and voice. The awareness and strength developed expands the performers possibilities on stage and gives greater dimension to performances.   The students at The Commedia School develop the physical means and the movement skills necessary to clearly convey character, images,  atmosphere and ambiance to an audience.
